Very chilly start today but temps warm up by Friday

Our stretch of gorgeous blue skies comes to an end today. While it’s not a totally cloudy day, it’s definitely not as bright as the past few.

We won’t see any showers, but the temperatures struggle to reach the mid-50s after a very chilly start in many spots.

We’ll resume the bright sunshine tomorrow as temperatures climb back near 70 by mid-afternoon.
This will start a two-day stretch of fine late autumn weather.

Friday should eclipse 70 in most spots – with a run at the mid-70s in a few towns or cities. A cold front (without rain) slicing through late day will return us to the cooler temps for Halloween and the rest of the weekend.

Highs on Saturday will slump back to the mid-50s under plenty of sunshine. Trick-or-treat temperatures will be a little chilly – mid/upper 40s – once the sun goes down, but we’ll remain dry. Sunday has a mini comeback with highs returning to 60 after another cold start.

The pattern switches up next week as we move into more typical November weather (clouds and rain). We’re still trying to time out exactly when the rain will be steadiest, but from midweek onward things look unsettled. Oddly enough, the temps hold steady or even warm up a bit thanks to a prolonged southerly flow of mild air.
Enjoy the rest of the week!
