clinched a playoff spot earlier this month with a win
FC Dallas have qualified for the 2026 MLS Cup Playoffs, clinching their spot with a 1-0 win over Seattle Sounders FC on Wednesday night in Frisco at Toyota Stadium.
Dallas are third in the Western Conference (50 points; 14W-7L-8D), with five regular-season matches left. Two of which are against bottom-dwellers Columbus and Kansas City.
Dallas have made the playoffs in back-to-back years under head coach Eric Quill. They've reached MLS Cup once, falling to the Colorado Rapids in 2010.
Croatian striker Petar Musa leads the team with 19 goals in 25 games played, second in the Golden Boot race (he also scored against England at the 2026 FIFA World Cup at Dallas Stadium).
