Sipapu ski resort eyes massive expansion

VADITO, N.M. — Sipapu Ski and Summer Resort is looking to quadruple in size and offer activities year-round.

The plans include 200 acres of new terrain, doubling the amount of lifts and adding a new restaurant. Renovation plans also include a mountain bike park, mountain coaster, a zip line and other activities.

A decision on permitting isn’t expected until next year.
