Through Tonight: It’ll be a mild evening for those heading to the City SC game, with temperatures falling into the lower 60s as the game wraps up.
Rest of the work week: Temperatures climb to 82° Thursday under mostly sunny skies (the record is 86° from 2024). A weak front stalls out and gives us a very low chance for a spot shower Thursday evening to Friday morning. Most stay dry and we’ll stay mild as the front lifts back north and keeps us mild Friday with a high of 79°.
Saturday (Halloween): We’re tracking mostly dry weather during the day, with only a low chance of rain by the evening on Halloween. A stray afternoon shower is possible, but the chance is about 10%. By early evening, rain chances increase to about 20%. The system looks much weaker and thus rain chances are lower, but we still see a chance for some light showers, especially later in the evening and into Sunday morning. Right now I’d suggest an umbrella, especially if you’re out past 7PM, but that actually may not be necessary if models trend towards later timing. We’ll keep you posted.

Sunday: Time change! Don’t forget to “fall back” to Standard Time this weekend — set your clocks back one hour before heading to bed Saturday night. Sunday will then be cloudy with scattered morning showers and another above-normal high of 72 in the afternoon.
Next Week: Showers and some thunder are possible Monday and Tuesday as a slow moving system dominates a large chunk of the Midwest including the STL region. Behind this system is turns much cooler late week with highs possibly in the upper 50s by the end of the week.
