Ice Wolves to host Halloween fun with trick-or-treating

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Families looking for a fun Halloween outing can head to the Outpost Ice Arenas this Saturday for a night of hockey, costumes and trick-or-treating with the New Mexico Ice Wolves.

The Ice Wolves will host the Houston Bulls on Saturday, Oct. 31, with puck drop set for 6:30 p.m. Fans of all ages are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes and take part in a variety of family-friendly activities throughout the evening.

Children attending the game will receive treat bags, and a costume contest will offer special prizes for some of the night’s best-dressed fans. The team will also take the ice wearing special Día de los Muertos-themed jerseys.

The fun continues after the final buzzer. Fans will have the opportunity to skate with Ice Wolves players and children can trick-or-treat with the team right on the ice. Rental skates will be provided free of charge for those who need them.

Organizers say the event is designed to give families a unique way to celebrate Halloween while enjoying a night of junior hockey action.
