Publishers outraged at book sales to Anthropic

TOKYO >> Criticism is mounting within Japan’s publishing industry over revelations that a subsidiary of major book distributor Nippan Group Holdings Inc. sold Japanese books to U.S. artificial intelligence developer Anthropic PBC without notifying publishers.
