Teen arrested for alleged possession of child porn, deputies say

COVINGTON, La. (WVUE) - St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Marcus Schech, 18, for possession of child sexual abuse material and bestiality, deputies said.

The investigation began after the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Investigators executed a search warrant at Schech’s residence in the 100 block of North Drive in Covington on Aug. 20, deputies said.

There, investigators found five images of child sexual abuse material, which led to Schech’s initial arrest, deputies said.

Several of Schech’s electronic devices were seized in that investigation and a forensic examination revealed an additional 373 images of CSAM and 25 bestiality images, deputies said.

Schech was re-arrested on Oct. 20 by members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force, deputies said.
