Man hospitalized after overnight stabbing at West Side apartment complex, SAPD says
A man in his 40s was hospitalized after being stabbed at a West Side apartment complex, according to San Antonio police.
Officers responded just after 1 a.m. Thursday in the 300 block of North General McMullen, near Rosedale Park.
When they arrived, they found a man with a stab wound to his lower rib cage area. Police said the man was taken to a hospital in “stable condition.”
According to police, the man told them he was reportedly stabbed by his girlfriend, who fled from the apartment complex after the stabbing.
Officers later found the woman and another man at a secondary location and detained them, SAPD said.
It’s unclear what led up to the stabbing or whether anyone has been charged.
This is a developing story. KSAT will update the article, once more information is available.
