University officials say the fee waiver is part of the Georgia Student Finance Commission’s Apply to College initiative, which typically covers Kennesaw State undergraduate application fees each November and March. The November waiver applies to all undergraduate and graduate application fees, with the exception of Community and Professional Education courses and certificates.

Jackie Quiroga, Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Services at Kennesaw State University, says this waiver could help eliminate financial obstacles for students.

“Apply to College Month has always been about removing barriers for students taking their next step and this year we’re extending that opportunity to graduate applicants for the first time,” Quiroga said. “Whether someone is completing a bachelor’s degree, returning to school after years in the workforce, or looking to advance in their career, cost should never be the reason not to apply.”

Prospective students considering enrollment can choose from more than 190 degree programs across 11 academic colleges on two campuses.

To assist applicants, KSU will host an Apply to College Month event on Tuesday, Nov. 17, from 4-6 p.m. on the Kennesaw Campus. Prospective undergraduate and graduate students can tour the campus and receive hands-on assistance with completing their applications. Event organizers require attendees to register in advance using online registration forms designated for undergraduate or graduate students.

The application fee waiver remains active through the end of November. Detailed application requirements, program information and registration tools are published on the university’s undergraduate and graduate admissions portals.
