Want free tuition? Stay through the end of Maryland's Saturday football game
The University of Maryland is raffling out free tuition for the Spring 2027 semester to one lucky student who stays until the fourth quarter of Saturday’s game.
The Terps play the University of Illinois on Oct. 31 in a home game. To enter the raffle students must scan their ticket upon entry and complete the halftime QR code entry form.
You must be a current full-time UMD student to qualify.
The raffle is an attempt to hype up interest for its football team after a lackluster run. UMD parted ways with head coach Michael Locksley last week and fired defensive coordinator Ted Monachino earlier this month after the team’s fifth consecutive loss.
Part-time students who are in their final semester can qualify for the raffle if they are enrolled in all courses required to complete their degree. The award for eligible part-time students will be adjusted.
Current student-athletes and immediate family members of current student-athletes are ineligible to win, in accordance with National Collegiate Athletic Association guidelines.
The winner must be present at the time of the drawing to receive the prize.
