SUGAR LAND, Texas (KTRK) -- A youth softball organization said it has cut ties with all individuals involved in a melee during a girls' softball game in Sugar Land this past weekend.
On Tuesday, the softball organization, Illusions Gold Fastpitch, shared a statement regarding the incident that read in part:
"We want to state unequivocally that our organization does not condone this type of behavior under any circumstances.
The individuals involved have been permanently dismissed from our program and the team is no longer associated with Illusions Gold Fastpitch."
The altercation occurred on Oct. 24 during a game involving two 12-year-old select softball teams at Imperial Park.

According to charging documents, Kiarious Marshun Hall and his wife, Jazmine Hall, were at their daughter's game when the dispute began. Their team was Illusions Gold 2033.
Investigators said the dispute began over Hall's behavior during opposing team at-bats. Hall told officers another man from Timbergrove Thunder approached him and said he "couldn't cheer before the players pitched the ball."
Witness video reviewed by investigators allegedly showed Hall striking another father in the face with a metal water bottle, causing him to fall to the ground unconscious.
Court records state Hall then swung the bottle at a second man before the confrontation became a physical fight.
After the incident, Sugar Land police arrested both Kiarious Hall and Jazmine Hall. Court records show both individuals were charged with assault causing bodily injury, and both were booked into the Fort Bend County Jail.
The Fort Bend District Attorney's Office said it is aware of the criminal investigation against the pair.
"We have been in contact with the Sugar Land Police Department since the early stages of the investigation," District Attorney Brian Middleton said in a statement. "They are committed to a thorough investigation and the collection of evidence. As medical records of the severity of the injuries are gathered and submitted to our office, the charges may be upgraded or modified in accordance with the medical evidence submitted. This is common practice and formal charges by my office are not restricted to the offense at the time of arrest."
On Monday, Jazmine Hall resigned as assistant principal at Lamar Junior High School.
