Thursday Sunshine Gives Way to an Unsettled Weekend
THURSDAY: It was a nice and quiet start to the morning with temperatures in the 40s and 50s. Heading into the afternoon, highs will be in the lower 80s. We will remain above average to end the work week. A few clouds will filter in but dry conditions remain with overnight lows in the 50s.
FRIDAY: Temperatures start cool with a sunny start. Clouds will build throughout the afternoon as highs will be around 80s again. Overnight, lows will be in the low to middle 60s with more humidity.
LOOKING AHEAD: Most of Halloween day will remain dry and cloudy although a stray shower can’t be ruled out. Showers chances increase Saturday evening into the overnight hours. Rain will not be pouring down, but it is smart to keep an umbrella nearby. The rain is expected to start mainly west of the Mississippi River and move east overnight. Mainly cloudy skies and periods of rain linger early Sunday. Highs will be in the 70s with overnight lows in the 60s. Better rain and storm chances arrive late Election Day Tuesday into Wednesday.
