Franklin County couple retires from McDonald’s nearly 50 years after opening own location

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Local couple Mike and Debbie Klak are retiring after decades working at and with McDonald’s.

Mike started as a crew member in 1958. In fact, he still has his original operations manual.

Mike and Debbie opened their first location together in 1977 in Washington, Missouri. Since then, the Klaks have owned multiple spots in Franklin County.
