Channel 2 Gwinnett County bureau chief Matt Johnson is on the campaign trail with Republican candidate for governor Rick Jackson in Barrow County on Thursday.
“The No. 1 priority of a governor — I don’t think there’s a second — and that is to keep you safe. That’s the No. 1 priority. Nothing else. If we don’t do that, then we have failed,” Jackson said.
He was joined by Gov. Brian P. Kemp and first lady Marty Kemp.
