FIRST ALERT: Quiet, warm Friday; showers return for part of Halloween weekend
FRIDAY: Expect an increase in clouds through the course of the day - highs will run back toward the lower 80s. We will remain rain-free during the day and evening, making for great Friday night plans. Milder, muggier air moves in overnight as lows hold in the lower to middle 60s.
SATURDAY: Halloween Saturday turns mainly cloudy; staying warm for late October standards in the middle to upper 70s. A good portion of the day will stay dry, but shower chances will increase during the early evening hours. Continue your plans as normal - but keep umbrellas and rain jackets handy for costumes. Rain becomes more widespread late Saturday night into early Sunday.
EXTENDED: Showers and a few storms are likely early Sunday morning before tapering Sunday evening. Highs will be in the lower 70s. Monday brings a brief break in the middle 70s before another system arrives by late Election Day Tuesday into Wednesday. A few storms could trend strong through early Wednesday. Drier, cooler fall air finally returns late next week with highs in the 60s; lows in the 40s - closer to average for early November.
