Green Line service partially suspended this weekend. Here's what to know
There’s a major shutdown on the MBTA Green Line this Halloween weekend, going through the heart of Boston.
The T says commuters may need to plan for an extra 25 minutes to get around while the partial service suspension is happening Oct. 31 and Nov. 1.
This is all part of the same work that prompted a week-long shutdown last month. The MBTA says it’s doing work on critical signal upgrades.
All four branches will be impacted. Service will be suspended between Government Center and Babcock Street on the B branch, Government Center and Kenmore on the C branch, North Station and Kenmore on the D branch, and Heath Street and North Station on the E branch.
There are free shuttle buses, and the T says you can use the Orange Line fare free.
