Beds4kidz taking donations for flood relief in Four Corners

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Up B4 the Son Ministries plans to buy $2,000 in cleaning supplies and take them to the Four Corners this weekend for flood cleanup.

The group, led by retired KOB meteorologist Steve Stucker, said the cleanup effort is a huge task and asked people in the Albuquerque area to donate supplies today.

People can drop off donations from 8 to 11 a.m. at Cottonwood Walmart, 10224 Coors Bypass Northwest, or from 2 to 5 p.m. at NE Heights Walmart, 2266 Wyoming Northeast.

Up B4 the Son Ministries asked donors to look for its Beds4Kidz box truck at the stores.

The group said it needs cleaning supplies, liquid or spray, rubber gloves and work gloves, cleaning towels and bath towels and medium to large plastic garbage bags.

It also asked for wipes, paper towels, toilet paper, salt licks, dog food, scoops, shovels, hammers and pry bars.

The group said people can also contribute by check or card on its website.

Up B4 the Son Ministries said people should not donate clothing.
