Health aide arrested in 81-year-old woman's possible IV-related death: Source
A home health aide has been arrested on a manslaughter charge following the death of an 81-year-old woman in Queens, according to police and a law enforcement source familiar with the situation.
Patricia Williams, a 46-year-old who herself lives in Brooklyn, was taken into custody at the 146th Street scene where Lillie Hill died mid-Thursday afternoon, police say.
Williams was charged after questioning. The circumstances of the charge weren’t immediately clear.
The medical examiner’s office will determine Hill’s cause of death. The law enforcement source says it may have been IV-related.
It wasn’t immediately clear if Williams had an attorney.
The investigation is ongoing.
