HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- County officials are set to reveal the latest details in the investigation involving a man who was run over by a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement vehicle earlier this month.

On Friday, Harris County District Attorney Sean Teare and Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said they would hold a morning press conference announcing an indictment in the case.

Miguel Parra-Hernandez was run over by an ICE-driven SUV on Oct. 10. Video shows Parra-Hernandez getting out of a pickup truck and running away from an agent, who appears to turn and hit Parra.

ICE said Parra-Hernandez was not the target of their operation, and alleged a second man who was in a vehicle with him was. However, attorneys for Parra said ICE's actual target was not in his vehicle, and the man with him was someone else.

A search warrant obtained by ABC13 reveals the crimes prosecutors could charge the agent involved with. According to the warrant, prosecutors are looking for evidence to potentially charge the agent with two different aggravated assault counts and possibly reckless driving.

Teare has previously said ICE removed the agent's vehicle from the scene so investigators couldn't look at it, and that's why the warrant was sought.

"This was an intentional strike. This was not an accident in any way shape or form," Teare told ABC13 on Oct. 13.

A document attached to the warrant, dated Oct. 23, states that the warrant was sent to ICE a few days after the crash, and that ICE acknowledged receiving it.

However, it states ICE was unresponsive, and access to the agent's vehicle has not been provided. ABC13 has reached out to ICE for comment.
