FX's 'American Horror Story' Season 13 takes viewers on a campy, gory, dark and twisted ride

As we head into Halloween weekend, what's better to really lean into spooky season than a full binge of FX's "American Horror Story?"

The show's stars say Season 13 takes viewers on a campy, gory, dark, and twisted ride.

"It's an evil, wicked kind of fun," says Paul Anthony Kelly. "It's a devil of a good time."

This season, Kelly gets to play his first villain - the devilish, sinister, and charming Young Mr. Nas.

He says he's just misunderstood.

"You know, there's a lot of good to Satan," says Kelly. "He ends up saving a few people and a dog along the way. He welcomes new life into the world, and then he gets stuck in a painting. It all turns on him when just as he thought he was doing some good."

Kelly made his major acting debut earlier this year in the FX limited series "Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette."

"It's been full steam ahead," says Kelly. "I'm very, very lucky and very grateful for this situation. It's just been a wild ride."

In this record-breaking season of "American Horror Story," Kelly says he gets to play in a world he was dying to get involved in.

"I love horror films and the genre of horror," he says. "I love to be spooked a little bit."

And he's once again working with TV mastermind Ryan Murphy.

"The guy is the king of television right now," he says. "It's incredible. He's such a world builder in that respect, and it's awesome to get lost within that world."

All episodes of FX's "American Horror Story" Season 13 are now streaming on Hulu.

The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of ABC and this station.
