Hazmat team responds after report of possible suspicious powder at county building in West Chester

WEST CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- A hazmat team has responded to a county building in West Chester Friday for reports of a possible suspicious powder.

The Chester County Hazardous Materials Team was dispatched to the 300 block of West Market Street around 10:30 a.m.

Chopper 6 was over the scene, where you could see response vehicles.

The hazmat team is working inside and outside the building at this time.

No other details have been released.
