Boat ramp at popular park remains closed, no clear timeline to reopen

One of the boat ramps at a popular park in Hall County is closed for safety reasons.

County officials said Wednesday that one of the two boat ramps at Burton Mill Park is closed due to low lake levels.

“It will remain closed until the lake level is safe for its use,” Hall County Parks and Leisure said.

The second boat ramp at Burton Mill Park is still open for use.

No timeline of when the ramp would reopen was available.
