According to records provided by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Johnathon Bostic allegedly exposed himself twice to a female mail carrier while she delivered post on Sept. 23 in a Douglas County neighborhood.
Before officers arrived at the scene, they were told the man was walking along a main road, near where the call originated.

When they arrived, they found Bostic, matching the description given by the 911 caller, walking in the opposite direction of the patrol vehicle and carrying a book bag.
Bostic provided his identity to the officer when asked but became “defensive and began yelling” when the officer told him he was investigating reports of a man matching his description exposing himself.
Bostic denied any involvement in the incident.
While speaking to Bostic, the mail carrier arrived on the scene and when he saw her, Bostic “became extremely irate,” using expletives and asking why she was there.
He then yelled that he would shoot the woman and set her belongings on fire.
The officer told Bostic he was being arrested for making terroristic threats after verbally threatening the mail carrier in front of the officer.
The officer then searched his bag, finding two large knives. A search of criminal records showed that Bostic is a convicted felon, according to the arrest report.
A month after his arrest, while still in custody at the Douglas County Jail, a detention officer found a contraband item in his cell after Bostic was taken outside for time in the jail’s exercise yard.
During a search of the cell, sheriff’s office staff found an envelope containing what was described as some form of shank.
The jail report says the item was “a rubber flex pen” like what are issued to inmates to write with wrapped in a zip lock bag with a “bronze colored key tied to the end of the rubber flex pen” to make the weapon.
The item was confiscated and additional charges were filed against Bostic.
He remains in custody.
