Simone Biles praises ‘TODAY' anchor Laura Jarrett for dressing up as her for Halloween

If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, then Laura Jarrett’s Halloween costume earned the ultimate seal of approval.

The “TODAY” co-anchor channeled Olympic gymnastics legend Simone Biles for Halloween, recreating the superstar athlete’s memorable floor routine from the 2024 Paris Olympics. Jarrett shared the costume reveal on Instagram, showing off her take on Biles’ silver medal-winning performance.

It didn’t take long for the decorated gymnast herself to weigh in.

Biles responded in the comments with a playful message.

“😂😂🫵🏾🫵🏾 PERFECT,” the seven-time Olympic gold medalist wrote.

The reaction marked a fitting endorsement from the athlete widely regarded as the greatest gymnast of all time. Jarrett’s tribute drew praise from viewers and colleagues alike, but Biles’ comment may have been the biggest compliment of all.

Jarrett wasn’t the only “TODAY” personality to go all out for Halloween.

This year’s celebration honored 100 years of NBC, with Savannah Guthrie and Jenna Bush Hager dressing as Rachel Green and Phoebe Buffay from “Friends,” Craig Melvin channeling Snoop Dogg, Dylan Dreyer transforming into Jeannie from “I Dream of Jeannie” and Al Roker dressing as Gumby from Eddie Murphy’s iconic “Saturday Night Live” sketch.
