Ogden man facing charges for allegedly sexually assaulting 2 minors
OGDEN — An Ogden man faces six felony counts for allegedly sexually assaulting two minors over the past year.
Hunter Blunt, 22, was charged with two counts of rape, two counts of object rape and two counts of sodomy, all first-degree felonies, stemming from his involvement dating back to October 2025 with the two minors. The Weber County Attorney's Office filed the charges on Monday, and Blunt made his initial appearance in court on Wednesday.
"Both children described the abuse as occurring repeatedly over an extended period (approximately one year) at the residence where Hunter lives with his parents," the charging documents read. The investigation started with an Oct. 18 report of the alleged incidents to the Utah Division of Child and Family Services.
The two victims, who were under the age of 14, also "described grooming conduct consistent with sexual abuse," including the receipt of candy and gifts from Blunt, according to the charges.
"Both children described conduct demonstrating consciousness of guilt, including Hunter instructing the children not to yell, to whisper and not to tell anyone because he did not want to get in trouble," the charges state.
Blunt, who's being held without bail in the Weber County Jail, allegedly recorded some of the activity.
