Teen critical after being hit by vehicle in North Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A teen is fighting to survive after being hit by a vehicle in North Memphis on Friday.

Memphis Police responded to a pedestrian struck off Chelsea Avenue and N. 7th Street. When they arrived, they found a teen in need of medical attention.

The teenage boy was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The vehicle remained on the scene. Police are actively investigating this crash.
