Cloudy, dry weather expected in Charlotte region for Halloween: First Alert forecast here
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - After a near record-breaking warm day in the low 80s, temperatures will fall into the 60s and 70s for any Friday evening plans.
As we get into the weekend, high pressure nudges in to our northeast and clouds will be moving in.
This will keep temperatures in the mid 50s for your Saturday morning plans.
By the afternoon hours, highs will reach right around 70-degrees. That will put us closer to “normal” for this time of year.
Anticipate the clouds to hold through those trick-or-treating plans as temperatures fall through the 60s.
Sunday morning will start around 50-degrees once again, only reaching the upper 60s by the afternoon.
Cloud cover will linger through the rest of the weekend and on into the start of next week.
Can’t rule out a few passing showers as we kick off a new work and school week, so a low-end rain chance is in the forecast through Election Day, but more impactful rain chances hold off until the middle/end of next week.
Temperatures will moderate back into the low to mid 70s in this time.
Forecast at a glance
- Tonight: Warm and dry
- Halloween Weekend: Clouds with seasonable temperatures, dry for trick-or-treating
