Tillman police station transforms into a haunted house for the community
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - It’s the spookiest time of the year, but for Halloween lovers, the forecast for Saturday could be a problem.
Memphis police have an alternative for you and your little ghouls and goblins on Friday night.
Officers have turned the Tillman Station into a haunted house!
Once everyone’s had their fill of the scares, they can get some sweets by Trunk or Treating.
For MPD, it’s an opportunity for some family and community fun.
“Halloween’s always been one of my favorite holidays, and I know the kids enjoy it, and this just gives them a chance to come out and see the police and not being the police. Like, we just get to come out, and they get to have a good time, we get to have a good time, and I think it’s good for everybody to get together in something that’s not enforcement capacity,” Major Adam Pickering said.
The spooky fun just started going until eight tonight. Costumes are encouraged.
