FEMA aid approved for 20 Texas counties affected by July storms, flooding
Financial assistance is coming to communities impacted by severe storms and flooding across Texas in July.
On Friday, Gov. Greg Abbott announced the federal government approved the state’s appeal for Federal Emergency Management Agency individual assistance funding.
The assistance will be available in 20 approved counties, including Bexar, Comal, Frio, Gillespie, Kendall, Kerr and Uvalde counties.
Residents can apply for FEMA disaster assistance online or by calling 1-800-621-3362.
Abbott’s announcement comes after President Donald Trump said his administration would make additional relief available to people affected by the severe weather.
