Texas Senate election results in the November 2026 midterms

Texans will decide several Texas Senate races in the Nov. 3 midterm election.

In Senate District 19, incumbent Democratic state Sen. Roland Gutierrez is seeking reelection against Republican challenger Marcus Cardenas.

In Senate District 21, incumbent Democratic state Sen. Judith Zaffirini is also seeking another term, facing Republican challenger Julie Dahlberg.

In Senate District 24, incumbent Republican Pete Flores is facing off against Democratic challenger Joe Paz Herrera.

In Senate District 26, incumbent Democratic state Sen. Jose Menendez is seeking reelection against Green Party candidate Julián Villarreal.
