Man shot and killed during fight inside Albany Park home

A man was shot and killed during a fight Friday night inside an Albany Park home on the North Side.

An argument between the 35-year-old man and someone he knew broke out at the home around 11:30 p.m. in the 4800 block of North Kilpatrick Avenue when it turned physical, leading to the man being shot in the head, Chicago police said.

He was taken to Lutheran General Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

A person of interest was taken into custody and a firearm was recovered, officials said.

Area 5 detectives were investigating.
