No. 3 Georgia dominates No. 17 Florida in World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party game
Facing off against their rivals, the No. 3 Georgia Bulldogs wasted no time getting on the board first.
They never looked back.
No. 3 Georgia defeated No. 17 Florida, 27-8, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The Dawgs have now won six straight games in the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party rivalry.
Channel 2 sports director Zach Klein and GameDay Insider Brandon Boykin will break down Georgia’s win on SEC GameDay on 2 following the primetime game.
The Bulldogs defense controlled most of the game and never let the Gators offense get into a rhythm. They forced four Florida turnovers, including a strip sack by Quintavius Johnson that led to a Chris Cole touchdown.
Georgia will face No. 12 Ole Miss in Oxford next Saturday. The game kicks off in primetime at 7:30 p.m. on Channel 2.
