A frosty start warms up for a sunny first day of November
November is off to a beautiful start across New England! Sunday brings plenty of sunshine, dry conditions and a nice afternoon warm-up after a chilly start to the day. Temperatures climb into the upper 50s for most, with a few spots in the lower 60s.
High pressure is keeping our weather quiet, and this is just the beginning of a fantastic stretch of fall weather!

Of course, the big change today, the clocks. Daylight saving time has officially ended, and we’re back on standard time. That means sunrise is now around 6:15 a.m. in Boston, but sunset comes at 4:37 p.m.

The good news is that we make it to the 60s Monday and stay there (at least) through the week.

Tuesday will have a few more clouds, but we clear the skies Wednesday. Afternoon highs reach the 60s each day, with the 70s possible by Thursday. That’s 10+ degrees above the normal of 57 degrees. Mornings will still be chilly, but the afternoons will be very comfortable. Our next chance for rain is late Thursday to Friday with a wet end to the week.
