12 displaced after fire in Jamaica Plain

More than a dozen people were forced from their homes on Sunday morning after a fire in Boston’s Jamaica Plain neighborhood.

Firefighters said they were called to 211 Boylston St., where they quickly put out the fire. However, during overhaul they determined part of the back wall wasn’t structurally sound.

The residents were evacuated. It is unclear when they will be allowed back in. There are six units in the building.
