Laxative given out to trick-or-treaters in Millis, police warn
Police are reminding parents to check their kids’ Halloween candy after someone passed out laxatives to trick-or-treaters in a Massachusetts neighborhood on Halloween night.
Millis police say someone discovered MiraFAST, an over-the-counter laxative, in sealed foil packages in their Halloween candy haul. It happened somewhere on Rolling Meadow, May Road or Paddock Lane.
Police said they’re not sure if the laxative was passed out intentionally or if it was a mixup. Investigators were going door-to-door to try to find the source.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 508-376-5112, and spread the word to anyone who was trick-or-treating in the area.
