LIVE UPDATES: Raiders try to snap 4-game losing streak against slumping Jets

A pair of struggling teams meet Sunday when the Las Vegas Raiders visit the New York Jets in Week 8.

The Raiders (3-4) are coming off a 35-21 loss to the Los Angeles Rams and have dropped four straight after a 3-0 start. Quarterback Kirk Cousins is tied for the league lead in touchdown passes, but the whispers for top pick Fernando Mendoza to take over get louder with each loss.

The Jets (2-5) have lost two in a row, including a 28-25 setback to the previously winless Miami Dolphins in Week 7. New York quarterback Geno Smith will face his former team after struggling in his one season with the Raiders.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.

Receiver returns

Jack Bech is officially back.

The Raiders activated the second-year wide receiver from injured reserve Saturday and he has no injury designation for Sunday’s game against the Jets.

Bech had been listed as questionable after Friday’s practice.

It was the only touchdown for either team.
