Search for gunman continues after man fatally shot in North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man was gunned down in broad daylight in North Philadelphia over two months ago.

Now, his family is asking for help bringing justice to the crime.

"It's been hard dealing with this."

It has been difficult for the family of Bryan Pullins to come to terms with his shocking death.

The 41-year-old was gunned down in the middle of the afternoon on the 2500 block of North 25th Street in North Philadelphia on August 13th, 2026.

"I was told he was helping someone do something and these people appeared and just shot him," says a loved one of Pullins.

Pullins was shot several times in the back and legs, in the very neighborhood where he grew up.

Police have released surveillance video which they say shows the alleged gunman firing several shots and then running off.

Pullins was rushed to the hospital by officers, where he clung to life for nearly two weeks before succumbing to his injuries.

"We were given 12 more days to be with him. It gave us the time to talk with him, and let him know he was loved."

Pullins left behind a 21-year-old daughter.

The family is hoping that someone finds it in their heart to come forward.

"Whoever saw something, or knows something, I just hope that the heart you might have or the caring that you knew Bryan as a friend or stranger in the neighborhood that someone will say something."

A $20,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in this deadly shooting.
