Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles are playing on NBC’s Sunday Night Football

Sunday Night Football is heading to the nation's capital, as the Philadelphia Eagles will face off against the NFC East rival Washington Commanders.

The Eagles are looking to snap a five-game skid and keep their chances at the division alive. Quarterback Tanner McKee has made two starts in place of Jalen Hurts, who is likely out for the remainder of the season after blood clots were found in his lungs. The team is 2-5 on the year following their Monday Night Football defeat to the rival Dallas Cowboys.

The Commanders have dealt with their own QB issues this season. The team is 1-4-1 on the year, and it has yet to win a game with third-year starter Jayden Daniels on the field. Washington is coming off a bye and also lost on Monday Night Football in its most recent outing, a 23-17 defeat to the San Francisco 49ers.
