Shelby County Clerk’s office unveils new operating hours

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - If you’re heading over to the Shelby County Clerk’s Office, you will want to check your watch starting Monday.

Locations are now rolling out new hours and will be open Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Clerk Dr. La Sonya Hall said the move helps streamline operations and sync up with state transaction systems.

Officials urge customers to arrive by 3:30 p.m. to make sure they’re seen in person. Or, customers can simply skip the trip altogether and renew their tags online.
