PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A burst of gunfire in West Philadelphia ended with three people injured, including a 14-year-old.
It happened around 6:45 p.m. Sunday outside the SEPTA station at 56th and Market Streets.
Authorities say surveillance video shows the suspect opening fire on three male victims as they walked up the stairs to the SEPTA platform.
A 26-year-old man is in critical condition. A 25-year-old and a 14-year-old are in stable condition. No arrests have been made.
Inspector D.F. Pace tells Action News, " It's unclear if all three of those gunshot victims knew each other. It does appear that the 14-year-old was in the company of one of those 20-something-year-old men. It's unclear if all three knew each other, however, and it's unclear who exactly was being targeted by the shooter."
Police recovered a handgun in a backpack, but it's unclear if it's connected to this shooting.
SEPTA says trains will bypass 56th Street station in both directions until service ends on Sunday.
