'I Play Rocky' director, cast talk Philadelphia-centered movie about Sylvester Stallone

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The director and stars of the very Philly film, "I Play Rocky," joined Action News on Monday.

The film is true story of Sylvester Stallone, who was an unknown actor at the time but believed he wasn't meant to just write Rocky, but to play Rocky.

It's a character that has truly become part of Philadelphia.

The film stars Anthony Ippolito and AnnaSophia Robb, and is directed by Peter Farrelly.

"I Play Rocky" is in select theaters on Friday, and everywhere on November 20.

There is also a Philadelphia premiere Monday night at the Philadelphia Film Society Center.
