Sand in My Boots music festival lineup announced

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Country music star Morgan Wallen and AEG Presents announce the lineup for three-day music festival, Sand in My Boots.

The festival debuted in 2025, and Wallen brings it back to the beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama from May 21 to 23, 2027. He has curated the lineup with artists spanning genres from country to electronic music.

Sand in My Boots reflects Wallen’s musical identity as he brings together his closest collaborators, favorite artists, and those who inspired him throughout his career, events officials said.

Headliners include Morgan Wallen, Kings of Leon, and Ella Langley. Artists such as Nelly, Empire of the Sun, Avery Anna, and Third Eye Blind will also perform.

In addition to music, the weekend event features seaside beach clubs, in-ground swimming pools, hammocks, and VIP passes.

“One thing I’m looking forward to the most about bringing Sand In My Boots Festival back is being able to have new concepts on stage and trying to elevate the experience overall for the fans, myself and other artists on the bill,” Wallen said. “I think it’s going to be really top-notch and we’re going to try to do it even better this time.”

The Morgan Wallen Foundation supports programs for youth in sports and music. Following the 2025 music festival, the foundation donated over $200,000 in instruments to five schools in Alabama, event officials said. Wallen donates a portion of each ticket sold to his foundation.

Gulf Shores residents will have early access to purchase tickets, with presale running from Nov. 5 at 1 p.m. to Nov. 6 at 10 a.m. Eligible zip codes, as well as the full lineup, are listed on the Sand in My Boots festival website.
