Love 4 Pets with Angel from Española Humane

ESPAÑOLA, N.M. — In Love 4 Pets, we highlight adoptable pets from a local animal rescue or shelter and this time we have Angel from Española Humane.

Angel lives up to the name. She cuddles close and for a reason. She doesn’t have eyes and is 100% blind. That’s due to a congenital issue she was born with.

“She’s just the sweetest thing, she’s not scared, she’s very brave, she’s bold. She’s a little bit like a Roomba because she just like bumps into something and then turns around and bumps into something else,” said Maddie Allen, of Española Humane.

Allen believes Angel is a shepherd rat terrier. They say she’s like a unicorn. They would love to see her in a home with another dog because she actually learned how to play with toys.
