2026 midterm elections: Results in Mass., NH and around New England
What to Know
- Massachusetts has several key races to watch on Election Day 2026, including Gov. Maura Healey’s reelection bid against Republican challenger Mike Minogue, Sen. Ed Markey’s race against John Deaton and nine ballot questions.
- In New Hampshire, there’s an open U.S. Senate seat that Rep. Chris Pappas and former Sen. John Sununu are vying for and a fight for Pappas’ seat in the House, plus a rematch in the governor’s race.
- Other top 2026 midterm election races to monitor in New England include Maine’s Senate showdown between incumbent Susan Collins and Democrat Troy Jackson and Vermont Gov. Phil Brown’s attempt to fend off Democrat Amanda Janoo.
- Expect election results to start coming in after polls close across the states, which is 8 p.m. in all states but Vermont and parts of New Hampshire, where polls close at 7 p.m.
- Watch live NBC10 Boston and NBC News coverage of the 2026 midterms in the video player above starting at 7 p.m.
