Former Lindy’s Diner property is for sale in downtown Albuquerque
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The property that used to be home to an Albuquerque favorite local diner for almost a century is now up for sale.
The property that used to house Lindy’s Diner is up for sale for $1.08 million. It’s a 0.17-acre vacant lot, right across the street from 505 Central Food Hall at Central and 5th Street.
Lindy’s Diner stood there until April when the city red-tagged the building. Days later, it partially collapsed. That led to the complete demolition of the Bliss Building it was in.
Coldwell Banker Legacy listed it Oct. 31, saying, “whether you’re envisioning a restaurant, retail space, mixed-use development, or another exciting venture, the possibilities are endless, subject to applicable zoning and approvals.”
