Ehlmann elected to sixth term as St. Charles County Executive

ST. CHARLES COUNTY (First Alert 4) – Steve Ehlmann has been re-elected as St. Charles County Executive.

Ehlmann defeated Democrat David Veneziano on Tuesday night. Ehlmann was first elected in 2006, and if he finishes the term he was elected to on Tuesday, will have held the office of St. Charles County Executive for 24 years.

Several years ago, Ehlmann said he would retire but announced in 2025 that he would run for sixth term. He defeated former State Senator Bill Eigel in the August primary.
