Rep. Donald Norcross (D) easily defeated Republican podcaster Damon Galdo Tuesday to secure another term in Congress, the Associated Press projects.
Norcross will represent New Jersey’s 1st Congressional District in Washington, D.C., for a seventh full term starting in January.
Norcross, a former union official, first joined Congress following a 2014 special election that was called when Rob Andrews resigned from the House to take a position in the private sector.
He is the brother of South Jersey power broker and insurance executive George Norcross.
