First Alert Weather: Tracking a warm afternoon with a few inland showers

Tracking a mainly dry morning commute today.

• Only an isolated shower closer to the coast is possible for the AM drive.
• A few inland afternoon showers will develop, primarily west of Jacksonville from Highway 301 to I-75.
• • Showers develop between 1 and 3 pm.
• Highs today in the lower to mid 80s inland and upper 70s to 80 degrees at the coast.
• Drier air/ lower humidity arrives for the weekend.

TROPICS:

• Low pressure forming over the W. Atlantic well to the east of Florida will stay over the open Atlantic but could slowly become “Kyle.”
• Hurricane season ends November 30.
