Proposition Paramedics passes in St. Charles, more propositions across St. Louis

(First Alert 4) - Proposition Paramedics passed overwhelmingly 62% to 37% in St. Charles County.

This proposition would fun ten new paramedic positions to help keep response times on track. It also ends balance billing for covered ambulance rides.

Plus, 50% of the funds goes directly back to lowering property taxes.

Across the region, 11 of 12 school tax measures passed.

Hillsboro’s Prop H was the only one to fail. Fifty-seven percent voted no on the largest proposed tax hike on the ballot in the region.

Webster Groves Prop W and Parkway Prop P both passed. In example, this would add roughly $260 to $370 dollars a year on a $300,000 home.

Nearby in Chesterfield, Props A and Q both passed. Just more than 51 percent approved a use tax for a new $34.5 million dollar aquatic center. This means no new property taxes. It’s paid for with an online and out-of-state use tax on deliveries from retailers like Amazon.
