Germantown mayor-elect announces transition team
GERMANTOWN, Tenn. (WMC) - Germantown’s newly elected mayor announced his transition team Wednesday.

Tony Salvaggio’s nine-member transition team comprises selected local professionals and community stakeholders.
The team will focus on seven areas of municipal responsibility.
Transition team members
John Bobango - Compliance/Legal
Lou Correale - Public Safety
Tony Fischer - Public Safety/IT
Ralph Gabb - Finance
Dan Haddow - Education
Patrick Lawton - Governance/Finance
Ashley Mooney - IT/AI/Cybersecurity
Donna Chandler Newman - Civic/Communications
Bob Scarlett - Service Agreements
Salvaggio’s transition team will begin its work Friday, November 6, and conclude before January 1.
“A city of roughly 40,000 residents may not typically approach a mayoral transition with this degree of structure, but Germantown expects this degree of attention,” Salvaggio said in a public statement following his election Tuesday night. “I intend to set a higher expectation for preparation, transparency and accountability in the Office of Mayor. This is where that commitment begins.”
Salvaggio replaces Mayor Mike Palazzolo, who was elected mayor in 2014 and re-elected for a second term in 2022.
